The location in downtown Hahnenklee was perfect for our mountain biking adventures, providing easy access to the trails and chairlifts. the absence of air conditioning in the rooms during the summer might be bothersome for some, but the mountain-facing windows in Room #19 offered a serene sunrise experience. The communal kitchen was a great option for preparing meals, though the lack of breakfast service was noted. the themed decor, showcasing outdoor sports like hunting and mountain biking, added a nice touch. the clean room and easy check-in/out process were also pluses. While the hotel may not offer luxurious amenities like a mini-bar or terrace, it compensates with its functional shared kitchen, free Wi-Fi, and convenient proximity to charming street vendors and entertainment options, such as mini-golf. For those looking for a cost-effective and well-located accommodation in Hahnenklee, Harzer Hof is a solid choice.
